On October 29-30, 2023, International Academic Conference on Optics and Photonics (IACOP2023) was successfully held! The conference was organized around the theme of " Use Photonics, Connect the World", with Keynote Speeches, Special Session on Breaking Developments of Optical Technology, Special Session on Imaging and Computational Optics, Oral and Poster Presentations, attracted more than 70 experts and scholars in the field of optics to participate in the conference. The opening ceremony was hosted by the conference chair-Prof. Yang Yue (SPIE Fellow, Senior Member of IEEE/Optica, Professor of School of Information and Communication Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China).

Opening Ceremony

At the opening ceremony, Prof. Yang Yue delivered a speech on behalf of the organizing committee, expressing his sincere welcome to all the participants who had taken the time to attend the conference. Prof. Yang Yue said that the conference program included a rich variety of topics, and believed that it would bring you the cutting-edge academic results, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the experts and scholars who had been giving support and help to the conference.

Keynote Speeches

After the opening ceremony, there were two excellent speeches, entitled " Experimental study on 100km free space coherent optical communication" delivered by Prof. Xizheng Ke, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and a professor of Xi'an University of Technology, and "Photoacoustic Spectroscopy Multicomponent SF6 Decomposition Gas Sensor for an Electric Power System" delivered by Prof. Xukun Yin, an associate professor of Xidian University, China, which attracted the attention and discussion of the delegates.

IACOP-BDOT'23 Special Session

The subsequent Special Session on Breaking Developments of Optical Technology, was chaired by Prof. You Wang, Southwest Institute of Technical Physics, China and Prof Weiqing Gao, Executive Dean of School of Physics, Hefei University of Technology, China. As the moderator of the session, Prof. You Wang introduced the following invited speakers.
