IACOP-OSM'24: Optical Sensor and Measurement

With the advantages of high precision, distributed, anti-interference, fast, real-time and non-contact, optical sensing and measurement technologies have important advantages in detection and measurement, and are widely used in many fields, such as civil engineering, electric power and chemical industry, industrial environment, biomedicine, public safety and national defense. Against this background, IACOP-OSM'24 aims to provide a platform for researchers worldwide to exchange and collaborate on the latest research results, technology trends and application prospects in the field of optical Sensor and measurement.

Prof. Muguang Wang, Institute of Lightwave Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, China

Prof. Muguang Wang, PhD supervisor, In 2004, he joined the Institute of Lightwave Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, where he is currently a Full Professor, and Associate Director. Dr. Wang was a recipient of the New Century Excellent Talents in University (Ministry of Education) in 2010, Beijing Higher Education Young Elite Teacher in 2014, and Beijing Nova of Science and Technology in 2008. His current research interests mainly include Optical Fiber Sensing, Microwave Photonics, Optical Fiber Components and Communications.

Jin Li
College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Northwest A&F University, China

Biography: Li Jin, serves as the full Professor/Ph.D. supervisor at Northwest A&F University. Shaanxi Province's "SanQin Talents" Introduction Plan for Young Talents, High level Talents at Northwest A&F University. Serving as Committee Members of the Laser Spectroscopy Special Committee in Chinese Optical Society, the Intelligent Sensor and Detection Technology Special Committee in Chinese Automation Society, and a Director of the 6th Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Workers Association; Member of IEEE Photonics Society, IEEE Sensor Society, American Optical Society, Chinese Electronics Society, and Chinese Society of Automation; Associate Editor of SCI journal Frontiers in Physics, Editorial Board Member of Agriculture, Frontiers in Materials; Youth Editorial Board Member of Chips and Rare Metals (Chinese version). His research interests include the advanced fiber optic sensor devices, intelligent optoelectronic detection technology, and basic and applied research in the fields of intelligent agricultural machinery equipment and smart agricultural process control, aiming to promote the development of agricultural intelligent sensor modules, integrated equipment, and industrialization process. He has hosted 10+ national and provincial-level projects, published over 70 SCI papers as corresponding or first author in top academic journals such as Sensors and Actors B, authorized 17 invention patents, and published 4 books.

Yunfeng Ma
Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China

Biography: Yunfeng Ma, is a full senior engineer and master's tutor at the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. Her research interests include laser test metrology and instrumentation, optical component inspection and testing, and laser radiation safety assessment.

Dengcai Yang
Beijing University of Technology, China

Biography: Dengcai Yang received the B.E. and M.S. degrees from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2014. He is currently a Researcher with the Beijing University of Technology. His research interests include microwave transmission and processing based on microwave photonics.

Xianguang Yang
Jinan University, China

Biography: Xianguang Yang is currently an Associate Professor of Jinan University, Assistant to the Dean of the Institute of Nanophotonics. His main research interests include nanophotonics materials and devices, and he has long been working on nanowire optical waveguides and optoelectronic detection.

Xubin Feng
Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of CAS, China

Biography: XUBIN FENG received the B.S. degree in computer science and technology, and the M.S. degree in computer architecture from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2010 and 2013, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in communication and information system from the Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Xi’an, China, 2021. He is currently an Associate Researcher and a master Supervisor with XIOMP, CAS. His research interests include intelligent photo-electric precision measurement technology.

Jian Li
Taiyuan University of Technology, China

Biography: Jian Li is currently an Associate Professor of Taiyuan University of Technology, China. He received the Ph.D. degree from the Key Laboratory of Advanced Transducers and Intelligent Control System of Ministry of Education, College of Physics and Optoelectronics, Taiyuan University of Technology, Taiyuan, China. His research interests include distributed optical fiber sensors and engineering applications.

Huizhe Yang
National University of Defense Technology, China

Speech title: High-precision wavefront detection

Biography: Huizhe Yang is a lecturer at the College of Advanced and Disciplinary Studies, National University of Defense Technology, focusing on research related to adaptive optics, image processing, and interferometric imaging. She received her Ph.D. in Physics from Durham University, UK, in 2019.

Ligang Wang
Zhejiang University, China

Biography: Li-Gang Wang is a professor of Physics at Zhejiang University. He received his Master degree from Zhejiang University in 2002, and got his Ph. D degree from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2005. Then he served as Associate Professor at Department of Physics before 2015. Between 2008 and 2010, he was a Research Assistant Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also did his postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Texas A&M University from 2013 to 2014. He had also visited Center for Quantum Physics at CIIT, Pakistan and visited the National Center for Applied Physics at KACST, Saudi Arabia. He has published over 100 research papers on topics such as Optics in curved space, singular optics, coherence optics, optical tweezers, light propagations in photonic crystals and novel materials (metamaterials, graphene, etc), slow and fast-light propagations, and Goo-Hanchen shifts. Total citation is over 3000 times in Web of Science, and H-factor is 29.

Tianliang Qu
Huazhong Institute of Optoelectronics Technology, China

Speech title: Optical and electrical measurement technology of 1-4 harmonics of uneven mass of hemispherical resonator
Biography: Qu Tianliang, researcher at Huazhong Institute of Optoelectronics Technology and part-time professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, graduated from the Department of Physics at Tsinghua University with a bachelor's and doctoral degree, and have been engaged in research on inertial navigation technology and optoelectronic devices for many years. Hosted 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, participated in multiple defense pre research or model projects, received 2 provincial/ministerial level awards, published over 50 papers in journals such as PRL, TIM, APL, etc., and has been cited over 1000 times; Authorized over 20 patents. Young top talent of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, senior member of Hubei Optical Society, serving as editorial board member of "Navigation Positioning and Timing", "Semiconductor Optoelectronics", "Scientific Reports" journals, and reviewer for multiple domestic and foreign journals.

Taixia Shi
East China Normal University, China

Biography: Taixia Shi is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the School of Communication and Electronic Engineering, East China Normal University. He received the Ph.D. degree in communication and information systems from East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, in 2023. His research interest focuses on developing integrated technologies for communication, radar, and spectrum sensing based on microwave photonics. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Cuihong Li
Zhejiang Lab, China

Biography: Cuihong Li, associate researcher of Zhejiang Lab, she has been engaged in the research of levitation optical force precision measurement, quantum sensing.
